Judges


The awards are judged by an esteemed panel of industry leaders and experts, the judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists and a judging meeting where entries are discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.

From a transparency perspective, we may video aspects of the judging session to give entrants an insight into why a winning entry was chosen.

Tom Buttle | President & Managing Director - London | MWW London

Tom is president and managing director of MikeWorldWide' London office. He’s passionate about communications programmes that drive value in sales and marketing and specialises in B2B and technology. Tom has helped tech giants such as Google, Intel, and HP define categories and expand markets. He also enjoys building marketing strategies with the most technical of businesses. As an agency head, Tom’s trademark approach has been ‘good growth’ – balancing profitable business management with a strong belief in well-being. In addition to his experience across PR, content, and digital, he has worked outside the PR industry as a corporate policy writer.

Shaad Cajee | European Marketing Manager | AliveCor Inc.

Shaad is an agile and entrepreneurial professional with marketing and sales experience across the pharmaceutical and med tech sectors. Beginning his career as an English language teacher, he later connected with his passion for healthcare marketing. Fascinated by the international landscape of communication and connectivity, Shaad is a strong advocate of health technology, solutions and diverse approaches that can change the world. Outside of work, Shaad enjoys spending time with his wife and son exploring different parts of Italy, practising yoga on the beach, and learning to cook Italian dishes with the best chef, his mother-in-law!

Lyndsey Evans | Collaborative Folks | PR, Content and Brand Communications Consultant

Lyndsey runs the PR & communications freelance network, Collaborative Folks, which she launched after 20 years working in both inhouse and agency marketing communications roles, spanning PR, content marketing and brand strategy. She has headed up PR and social media strategy at retailers Currys Plc, AO.com and Iceland Foods, as well as worked at some of the north west’s biggest agencies. Lyndsey’s experience spans 70+ brands across 20 sectors and includes Bentley Motors, Gumtree, Very, Specsavers and Marks & Spencer. At AO.com, Lyndsey transformed the brand's reputation from a little-known online white goods specialist to one of the most talked about emerging online retailers over a four year period. She's also won many industry awards and been named a top 50 in-house communicator in the north.

Kelly Friend | PR Manager – UK & US | WithSecure™

Kelly is the UK & US PR Manager for cyber security company WithSecure. With almost 15 years in the industry, Kelly has led technology PR campaigns across industries including healthcare, aviation, subsea oil and gas, and maritime defence. Dr Michelle Gledhill | Senior Lecturer, Programme Leader MSc Creative Advertising Strategy | Manchester Metropolitan University Business School

Dr Michelle Gledhill is a specialist in in advertising, branding and media. My former position (2010 to 2022) as Programme Leader for MSc Creative Advertising Strategy combined my expertise in strategic thinking when working on live briefs with brands such as Manchester City, the Happy Linen Company and Rockstar Spirits, with my passion for developing and nurturing student talent in the Manchester and across the UK. This has led to a new role where I am the Marketing Retail and Tourism Employability Lead. She will be working with agencies and businesses to enhance the career prospects of MRT students. Her fascination for branding led her to complete a unique doctoral thesis on how brands are processed whilst playing videogames. She is a highly experienced marketer, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), CIM Senior Examiner and HE Examiner.

Andy Green | Co-founder | AndyGreenCreativity

Andy wrote the first book on the subject of ‘Creativity in Public Relations’ and continues to be at the forefront of new thinking and doing as a founder supporter of the Dublin Conversations, co-creating bigger thinking for the future of the communications industry. Andy is a working practitioner and academic teaching innovation, communications and public relations. He has written 7 books (translated into 8 languages) on purpose, creativity, social capitals, organisational change. He is co-founder of social enterprise ‘Grow Social Capital’, founder of The Tummler School and co-founder of Unstitution. Believing we can all gain inspiration from the unlikeliest of sources, pre-Covid Andy used to deliver creativity classes on the London Tube. Navah Hopkins | Vice President of Strategic Marketing | Adzooma

A veteran of the digital marketing industry and "Top 25 PPC Expert", she began as an SEO in 2008, transitioning to PPC in 2012. She manages the strategy and execution of paid media campaigns, as well as helping brands build relationships with profitable partners and customers. Throughout her career, Navah makes a point to give back and loves sharing lessons learned on the international speaking circuit as well as local universities. She is a frequent contributor to SEJ, SEMrush, and WordStream blogs/webinars. Aoife McIlraith | GLOBAL SEARCH CONSULTANT

Aoife McIlraith is an award-winning international search consultant. She has worked in marketing for over 22 years, specializing in international SEO and multilingual digital strategies for global brands. Her most recent role was VP product marketing with Semrush. A regular speaker at international conferences she is also on multiple judging panels for country and global awards. Aoife was recognized among the “Top 20 Women making the biggest impact in Marketing Tech” by B2B Marketing Magazine in 2019. She holds a post grad in programming and works with Enterprise Ireland as a mentor to early stage tech start ups.

Paul Morris | Head of Digital / Performance Marketing | Distrelec

Paul has 22 years’ experience leading Marketing, Digital & Ecommerce both Agency & Brand side. Mara Zatti | Head of Brand and Communications | HolidayPirates Group

Mara Zatti is the Head of Brand and Communications at the online travel platform HolidayPirates Group. She has worked in the past across different fields within the publishing and editorial sector. Her classical education led her to teach at various universities and to work as a journalist and later video journalist. In 2013, Mara joined the online language learning platform Babbel, based in Berlin, where she acted as Senior PR Manager and Team Lead for Southern Europe and Latin America.
